My Favourite Actor

Well, that's just it! I love so many of them :D I really like Robert Pattinson ;) because he's a great actor, obviously!! Ok, it's because he's gorgeous! Ha!Ha! All joking aside, I think Sandra Bullock is amazing. I've seen her in quite a few movies now and she's just so versatile! If you compare her in The Proposal and Gravity, you can clearly see how she can act out such different characters. Of course, this actor and actress are just 'character actors'. Actors such as Daniel Day Lewis are 'method actors'. This means he lives and breathes his character in the movie everywhere; literally! When he was doing his movie Lincoln, his family had to move away for 6 months! Now that's what I call dedication! To conclude, I think that if you love a lot of movies, it's impossible to have a 'favourite actor'.

What is acting to you? :)

So many people think acting is just being on a stage with a script and pretending to be someone different. Yes, stages are involved, but that's more for theatre ;). And yes, you are pretending to be someone else. A different 'character'. Acting is a way of improving your confidence, presence and ability to deal with nerves, which (I found out the hard way) can prove to be helpful in interviews! You don't have to want to be an actor to do acting. I picked it up just as a hobby and because my Tuesday nights were pretty boring, and I actually really love it now! I do Acting for Screen so no singing or dancing is involved. So give acting a go!
